About Us

My name is Meredith, and I started knitting when my third (and last) child was a few months old. I wanted to be able to make her soakers and pants to use in our cloth diapering system but once I realized that I could become a licensee of Stellaria's Fern and Faerie pattern, I made the business decision to get licensed and open up my original store, KnitWitz Baby.

I have decided to go on a different venture with my knitting (and now crocheting), so I created These Two Sticks. I will still offer wool diapering items, but I will also be offering stuffed animals, sweaters, and anything else I feel like created with those wonderful knitting needles and crochet hooks.

I am a mom of three, wife to a wonderful and supportive husband who doesn't roll his eyes too much when another skein of yarn arrives in the mail. My children are my biggest fans, always wanting to take off with my newest creations. I hope you enjoy your experience with my business.
